I am looking for a clinical pharmacology text that explains the pathophysiology behind the medications. I have been reading clinical anesthesiology but I was wondering if their was anything else that explains the physiology a bit more for instance.

Pharmacology by Katzung & Trevor was excellent in medical school
Goodman & Gilman Pharmacology is an excellent text for the anesthesiology resident/faculty
