Has anyone ever bought your books at www.textbookx.com website ? Can we trust them ? They're selling pretty cheap books for Schaum's outline biology & chemistry, just wondering if we should trust them.

Also has anyone ever bought your DAT, Kaplan books, Shcaum's, or any materials to prepare for DAT at Half Price book store ???? Do you think they sell it over there ????

they are legit, but you if you want to buy from the market place then you must read the info about what you want to buy. its also possible that the 3$+shipping chaum's outline is highly likely a copy of the original book. i prefer cheaper copies. my organic chemistry book is almost 200$ and i bought it for 70$ and the book was 100% similar in color and content, but it was softcover instead of hard cover.

Thanks Issa!!! I just bought all my books from Amazon.com ... I want my orginal and just want to make sure they're brand new and not missing any pages 🙂

Dear moonlight123: TextbookX is a fraudulent company who doesn't care about their customers.

I made an order through TextbookX on Amazon at 10:15am and, after realizing the incorrect edition was ordered, cancelled the order immediately before 11am. I also wrote TextbookX a short letter explaining and requesting the cancellation on top of the Amazon cancellation made within minutes of the original order. Furthermore, I called and spoke with two representatives the next morning after I got an email from TextbookX stating that they close at 5pm and could not grant my cancellation request before their closing time (which is just an excuse to send the order anyway since I cancelled before 11am). The two reps I spoke to (Jackie and Briana) both told me that the shipment hadn't gone to the post office yet (which shows they aren't an honest company since they reported to Amazon that the order had been shipped early the next morning but didn't provide a tracking #) and they would make sure it wasn't shipped out. They both also told me they would call me back to confirm yet I never received a phone call despite calling and speaking with them six (yes, 6) times over the next few days all with the same conversation.

Don't ya know that TWO WEEKS LATER the book shows up in my mailbox! I sent it back and after a fiasco with their return address not being valid through the USPS, they were finally able to return it to them.

A few days after they received it, TextbookX sent me an email stating they would refund only $107.50 of my $128.99 purchase! The policy on Amazon stated this return was a legitimate refund for 100% of purchase. However, TextbookX is claiming that they charge a 10% "restocking" fee. Ok, so how is 10% off of $128.99 equalling to $107.50?!?! Even if you charge me the $3.99 shipping fee and charge 10% of the book price of $125, their math is still incorrect and they are ripping off the customer despite numerous emails explaining the entire situation and spelling out what it should be. Now they are refusing to communicate anymore and I HAVE NOT SEEN ANY REFUND whatsoever! THEY HAVE THE BOOK AND MY $128.99!

This company is AWFUL and it has been the most FRAUDULENT and WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER! Do not take a chance with this company!
