Hi,

This TFE from Achiever.

My question is:
How do you know that for the top view, the first part of the object is gong to be triangually shaped instead of box shaped?

The answer is C, btw.

You cant tell the difference really.

You would have to look at the box that contains the half-dashed lines ( on the right side ) , and then decide which options correlates to it better. And based on that box you choose your answer.

I don't think you can use the square vs triangle to distinguish between B and C. When you look at the bottom square on the Front View. It is cut in half to make two rectangles.This correspond with the 3 dashed lines on the right side of choice C.

However, I am not sure. Maybe the 3-D representation would help. This is a hard problem and I'm not that great at TFE.
