So I have gone through "My sickest PAT tutorial" several times and it hasn't really helped me. I also watched condogs TFE videos. Are there are any other sources for the TFE section? I started doing CDP and TFE is OWNING me 🙁

Look at the last post in the above thread...its a method i came up with...try it out and see if it works
hey, i was just reading that forum and had a question regarding Keyhole. I read somewhere that the keyhole on the real DAT is diff than CDP because of the proportions. What does 'proportion' really mean? For example, i took a free PAT sample questions on predds.net and it was terrible...like the answer choices weren't drawn to actually fit the image. but as for Achiever, the answer choices were drawn to fit the image. I was so used to doing the achiever PAT that when i did the predds.net PAT i literally bombed it cuz the scale of the answer choices and object don't match up..
so how do i tackle keyhole 'proportion' on the real DAT?

I was realllllly bad at TFE as well but I looked at that wicked sick PAT tutorial on page 4 about the guide on how to count lines. I use that to eliminate answers and after that, I just try to make the best guess based on other clues. I still cannot picture the object but that allows me to get 10-13 right on crack pat which I will take.

dont rely on line counting; it doesnt work on the real dat.

if you seriously do alot of problems, you start to notice alot of things when scanning TFE images. top view, how many different planes? then look at front view, what did those planes represent, does one piece stick out? is that piece a cylinder on another view? is it higher or lower? etc. just build a 3D image with the pieces you can put together! also many times similar answers will drastically vary in solid/dotted lines. do some problems and review them! good luck

Hopefully practicing will help. Other than that, any tips are appreciated!

So line counting doesn't even help to eliminate incorrect answer choices?? Wow, it seems like all the practice tests I have done atleast eliminates answers

it works but on the real dat people say it only helps to eliminate 1 to 2 choices; which is equivalent to 50/50
