I only got this answer correct by process of elimination..I see why others don't work now that I am reviewing the test. BUT i put an arrows there because I am not sure where these dotted lines are coming from..can someone help me with this?

if you look at the front view, I think it comes from the curve part and the other side of it. The other side that invaginates on the front view.
