Hi all
I was told that handwritten notes are more personal, but I was wondering if it is acceptable to type it in word and make your printer print the text on the thank you card instead?
what is the reader going to think when he/she reads the note?

Thank you

I feel like it really can't matter that much, as long as it's obvious that you've written a message (as opposed to buying a thank you card and signing your name). I used a greeting card program to make cards with personalized messages, and then I signed my name. I got in, FWIW.

Sure it's acceptable, but it's going to seem canned. What reason do you have for not handwriting it?

Whichever's more legible. Chances are people aren't going to reject you over a thank you card.

Woah I've been tracking your progress and that's great news! Your gutsy move to stay in CA certainly paid off.

If you have legible hand writing I'm sure it's fine. I do not, and since I didn't want my interviewers think that I'd had my three year old cousin write the letters for me I went ahead and typed them out.
