So far I've been sending thank you emails to the interviewers who I got emails from. Two of them responded with pretty much the same thing:

"It was my pleasure. Best of luck."

Could/should this be construed as "Good luck elsewhere, because you didn't get any help from me!" or more "I gave my piece, its no longer in my hands." or is there really no way to tell and I'm spazzing as usual?

Sorry to be so paranoid. Thanks!

All it means is that you had two interviewers who were thoughtful enough to email you back. Most of them won't take the time to do that. Consider yourself lucky. BTW, in case you were wondering, you ARE being overly paranoid 😀.

LOL spazzing as usual. Your reading too much into the email, you probably did fine, relax.

It is probably a generic mandatory response that the admissions coordinators send out. I am sure they have to send them all the time. I wouldn't stress it. At least you got a response, that can be looked at as a positive.

Yep, I'm a total spaz, and a woman. What can I say, it runs in the family. Hahaha. I just want to hear back already!

I only sent emails. I figured that most adcoms would meet before they got a letter, plus the admissions offices are probably getting so much mail right now that it'd either be lost or totally ignored. So... do what you like. Maybe just send emails from now on, but I wouldn't do both.

I wouldn't worry about it. From now on, ask your interviewers if they have business cards at the end of the interview. Most people list their email address on the card. 🙂

Hahaha I'm sure you're fine, even if you're old-skool. No worries. Let's just hope for some acceptances now!

I've been emailing the schools that decide w/i 2 weeks and snail mailing schools where I have extra time. I don't know that it really makes a difference???😕

At UMDNJ they put it into my applicant file. So sometimes it can make a difference. I would send a hard copy, too easy to delete an email.

Oh! That's good to know. Thanks for the info!👍 Also, how did you find out they put it in your file? Did you ask them?
