Hi everyone. I am a fellow MSTP applicant. However, following my interviewing and a problem I had at home (a very serious emergency) I never got around to sending thank you notes to my interviewers?? I am particularly interested in Mayo, Sinai and Northwestern.

Do you think this can hurt my chances for admission?? Also what do you think about sending them now??

I would say don't worry about it at all. I have been accepted to three schools, and I only sent thank-you letters to one of them. I don't think anyone really cares.

Thanks. I was getting worried for a sec. But does it pay to send one NOW???

naa...if anything, I think sending one now would be awkward for you and the interviewers. "Why the hell is (JJ4) just NOW sending us this??"

well the interviews were in January. I just didn't want anything to get messed up. I mean if it came down to giving me or the other guy the seat - I don;t want it to come down to thank you notes -- that would be the worst nightmare.

Hey, it's still January! I'd send them and mention that a personal emergency kept you from sending them earlier.
