I'd like to thank Drs. UTSW, JPP, MilMD, Old Man Dave, Tim Tye, and VENTY

Guys, you guys seriously rock. you were there when we felt like s hit. you guys were there when we looked for advice and guidance.

True, we may all have some distinct personalities that may sometimes clash. At the end though, it was you all's gracious time and effort to SDN that A)made us addicted to this forum B) allow us to actualize our desire to become an anesthesiologist.

Truly, thank you VERY VERY MUCH!!

Nice post, bro. Glad to have been able to contribute to your plight in a (very) small fashion.

Congratulations!

Thanks to the pros and I hope that as we progress in our endeavor that we may contribute to the forum and help the new generation of anesthesiologists.

Gotta add Supahfresh to the list also! Thanks to all of you!

Yup, nothing gives me the warm fuzzies like watching JPP drop verbal bombs on terrorists, and MilMD calling people out for being "basically a slave." The advice/cases are nice distractors from these pressing issues.

Like think said, all of you have been top notch, and I gotta thank all o' ya.

Yes, you guys are awesome!! Thanks so much for your great advice and encouragement!

lvspro, your avatar is hilarious!

Thanks! I nearly pissed myself when I first saw it.

My hat is off to you who have matched and have worked so hard...it sounds like it was even harder this year than ever. SDN is addictive because you can ask the questions without fear of reprisal on the wards, etc.

Congrats to all!

Gotta add Steel_city to this list. He really gave us all great help this year and enlightened us all about what an incredible franchise the Pittsburgh Steelers have become. Go Steel_city! Lets give it up to Steel_city.

I never would have matched if it weren't for this forum! Well, maybe that's getting carried away 😉 . Thanks again for the wisdom, and for the comraderie (sp?).

As we old guys have always said, the only price for the help and words of wisdom you receive here is that you have to reciprocate and pass on that help and those words to those that will follow.

As Jet, Mil, myself, and the other old farts get older (especially Jet), we become farther removed from residency and it will be up to you younger pups to help those trying to get into residency or in residency with your connections and of course your super genius.

This board has already helped me find a new partner for next year and a potential one for the following year so when you fellow attendings have a job opening, post it here to get the applications rolling and to get more candidates to look at besides the natives.

One of these days we will have to transfer Jet to the geriatric gas forum.

Geez. 41 years old and I'm already gettin' grief.

Oh well.

Still love you dudes. And send me my upper/lower dentures, hernia belt, geritol, cane, and depends if you find them. Seem to have misplaced everything.

Sheesh! If 41 = geriatric, then I am so screwed! I will turn 41 during my CA-3 year...at least Jet is already (and has been) an attending at that RIPE OLD age.

I don't think its getting carried away at all. Because of this forum I knew how to schedule my fourth year (away's), where to apply, how many to apply to, what to expect on my interviews, how I should go about ranking, and (last but not least) what to drink on Match Day!! A lot of this had to do with the above posters, and many others.

I am extremely thankful that I stumbled onto this board 3 years ago.

I always suspected he had teats. If not, he obviously likes to go mountain hiking a lot.

Keep suckling, young grasshoppas...keep suckling.

I've forgotten more anesthesia in the last ten minutes than you learned in your entire residency.

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH

stupid, yet funny line!!!! I don't care who you are, thats funny!!!!!
