After my interview at my state school which i really really like, my interviewer said "Thanks for considering us" which to me sound pretty odd. Does anybody have any experience with that phrase? i am pretty much confused right now.

I dont quite understand what the big deal is? I have seen the med schools write that in every letter they have sent to me, even rejections. You are considering them. It does not mean that you will get in, it just means "thanks for spending your time and money to apply here." I dont think it sounds odd at all.

LOL! Don't read into everything. I am sure it was just a comment and not intended to imply anything about your chances of acceptance. GOOD LUCK!!!:luck: :luck: :luck:

The schools realize that it is just important for you to find a good fit as it is for them to decide who they think fits best. It's a two way street. All of my interviews so far have really emphasized that. It's just as important for you to be evaluating them on your interview day as it is the other way around.

Plus, on top of all that who goes where mumbo jumbo, they do genuinely appreciate any interest in their school, from all applicants.

The reason i am worried is because the interviewer asked if i applied to allopathic schools and in the spirit if honesty... i said yes. for her to conclude with "Thanks for considering us" look scary to me cos i really love the school.
