A large proportion of secondaries ask something along the lines of "If you have graduated already, what are you doing/do you plan on doing before matriculation". I've been applying to tons of jobs and the whole process hasn't been going too well (surprise, surprise), leaving me unsure of the location I'm even living at. What is the best way to answer this question for those of us who don't have solid plans (in where we will live/work/etc)? I don't want to come off as a nomad

If you graduated just days ago, it is understandable that you might not yet have a job. Just write what you hope to do (which industries are you looking into -- research lab, clinical care, tutoring, substitute teaching, etc), if you have continued any volunteerism you'd been engaged in during college, -- they don't expect much at this point but will ask deeper questions at interview.
