What happens if you take longer than 10-minutes for break? I thought that the next section would start immediately, but when I took it, there was one break I came back like less than one minute late and when I got to my computer it said "your break has ended" or something like that to which I clicked "OK" and the timer on the next section didn't start until I clicked next on the introductory page for that section.

Also, some time is wasted because they have to scan your finger print again before you get to your computer, sign in, and empty out your pockets again. This is the reason I was late for that one section and also because the proctor wasn't at his desk and was talking to another worker there which freaked me out because I thought I was going to run out of time, which I did.

I don't think anything happens. This exact scenario happened to me too. I think the powers that be know that we probably cannot make it right on the 10 minute mark given all the administrative items that are necessary to enter and exit the testing area.

You could get in trouble with the proctors. I was at the 6-7 minute mark in my break and the proctor told me if i didn't hurry up, they'd void my test. So definitely get back on time just in case you have this kind of proctor. It's simply not worth the risk.

I had no idea...I thought that the timer automatically starts running down after the 10 minutes, doesn't matter if you click OK or not. Good to know, in case it takes me a little longer to come back.

Wow you had some anal proctors.
