A thought....
Suppose through a combination of factors one's acceptance letters do not get sent out until after February or March (quite possible given the number of applicants this year). This now puts you in the 15-days-or-less-to-respond category as far as securing a place in a class is concerned. An acceptance letter comes and it?s getting to be day 15. What do you do now???
1) Accept the school, even if it's somewhere you would rather not go.
2) Wait and hope for something better (pretty ballsy 🙂
3) Accept but be prepared to sink in another $K or so if a better school comes soon after.
Now this is just a hypothetical, no massive debate necessary. However, this dilemma has been keeping my savings account "frozen" with fear and me stressing.
Any thoughts anyone???
I wish you could sell/transfer your place-holding fees to another who was accepted later...
