Alright, I've been through these forums up and down and I just want to get your opinion on my application. I have been pretty much a crappy medical student (average midwest med school). My grades are like all B's and C's except for surgery, which I Honored some how. My step 1 is a 209/85 but I did do a year of crappy research before med school (with no publications). I applied to 43 programs (average mix of high/middle/low tier schools) and was just wondering how many invites you think I should expect.

All opinions appreciated.

You'll probably get more than you expect. The real strategy for you (my guess) will be making sure you go to a lot of your interviews (up to say 12-13) and when you hear from the more competitive places in popular locations(which dont be suprised if you do), dont get a big head and cancel your interviews in less competitve places.
