For those people who have had significant experience in what clinical psychologists do, what would you say are the best and the worst parts of such a career? If you had to make a career decision again, knowing what you know now, are there things that would give you significant pause to clin psy as a career? Or would you still make the same decision?

(Please indicate your level of experience in the field.)

Is this for a homework assignment? I'm sure people would be glad to give you their opinions, but if you're surveying for something you need to be upfront about it.

Best: Making an impact on patients and their families.

Worst: Interactions with idiotic parents that result in having to waste my evening doing CPS reports rather than having dinner with my wife.
