As a first year dental student a couple of weeks in to our condensed 5 week anatomy and embryology class, I can see the stress in the drained faces of my classmates and the medical students who are also in the class. In two days we have a "pin test" worth a large part of our grade coming up on wednesday and everyone seems to be freaking out. Our professor sent us this following quote in an email that I thought was a great way to make us all laugh and kind of show us in the whole scheme of things, this test isn't the ONLY important thing in life (although after 7 hours of class every day it seems to feel as if this class is our life).
For those who feel overwhelmed, the statement below was sent by a student at this stage of the course in a previous year. "I know God put me on earth to accomplish a certain number of things. Right now, I am so far behind that I am sure I will NEVER die."
I thought everyone applying to D school, getting ready to take the DAT, etc. might appreciate this quote. 🙂
