Personally, I think it's racist. I have several black friends who came from a well off background who got into medical school with subpar stats. SES should be given the attention, not the color of your skin.

Sure okay but then look at all the high scoring Asians that DON'T get in because of affirmative action.

If we were to turn off affirmative action you would lose your spots to the thousands of Asians with much better scores.
