the correct AMCAS ID number

Ok, so the Sinai application has 10 spaces for the amcas ID number, when there are only 8 digits in the number. Then I remembered that there are actually supposed to be two dashes in the friggin' number somewhere. It was never important, and I can't seem to find the correct format for the amcas ID on any websites.

So is it XX-XX-XXXX? Or something completely different?
