Wondering if we need to know anything about Cyanohydrins, etc? (HCN), or any cyano compounds (C triple bond N).

Also curious about needing to know the haloform reaction, LDA, epoxides, etc?

CN's a good nucleophile. that's all I ever needed to know in orgo. If you see CN, try to find a way to put it into a compound. Issue's usually where.

Best of advice would be to know EVERYTHING in Kaplan. Make notecards, write things out, whatever you need to do, just know it cold. They could throw anything at you.
