There is no such thing as "passing" the MCAT, those e-mails are spam.
You will find out on the date designated on the AAMC website.

The days preceding it I tried not to think about it, but the night of the result release date, I was compulsively refreshing the AAMC MCAT page for about 1hr prior to the release...at the end (when it hit 9pm), I closed my eyes and my little brother refreshed the page and read my score to me. 😀

Heh, I remember constantly refreshing the page as well. When it finally turned over I quickly shut my laptop and almost dropped it... It turned out way better than I expected though.

One of the virtues of taking it the August of the year before I applied was that I pretty much forgot about it till release day, since premed was barely on my mind.

Those emails are crap, all they know is that you took the MCAT. You know it isn't pass fail. Relax it'll be fine.

I checked the aamc site franctically to see if they were ready yet...it was painful

The first thing I saw on the online score report was the test form number (mine was 31) so for a split second I thought that that was my score....then I added up my individual section scores and realized I was off by 8 points.... I was shocked at how lucky I was because I was scoring a few points less on the practice tests.

Good luck and try not to die of anticipation!

I checked the AAMC site periodically throughout the day until I found out that it was going to be out around 10pm or so... I was in the subway on my way home from work when 10pm (or whatever time it was) rolled around, so I got out in times square and logged into the AAMC site via my cell phone to get the score!

Haha..I remember that night so vividly. I couldn't sit still so I went to play poker and ended up playing until 4 in the morning. With $300 in my pocket, I went home happy, but I just couldn't wait until later on in the morning to find out my score (scores were already out at 9pm the previous night) so I went to Kinko's and screamed all by my lonesome when I finally got the guts to open my eyes to the computer screen🙂
