Hello everyone. Just a couple of questions for you. I have an exam coming next tuesday and a quiz tomorrow. I am looking over some questions and am having problems with this question that is from LAB. I'm assuming you know th eDumas method where you determine the MW of a volatile liquid. So here is the question. I would really appreciate some help. TIA.

Would the molar mass of a volatile liquid be incorrectly high/low, or unnafected by the following procedural change:

d) Your unknown liquid has a boiling point of 102.3 C.

Now in this expirement we had to place the volatile liqquid in a flask, with a stopper on top wrapped in foil and a tiny hole, into boiling water....

I hope I can get some help since Im really having trouble understanding this. Thanks everyone for your time.

never heard of any of things you just mentioned... but I'm going to be an oral mechanic... not a chemist. 😎

lol good to know that I dont have to know this for the DAT lol. Ill just have to ask my professor before class tomorrow. Thanks.
