Do you have a better chance of getting in if you receive an interview in the months of June/July/August/September? Or first round interviews.

Does interviewing later affect my chances of getting in?
Say I interview on October 5th rather than September 5th, would that month wait affect my chances of getting in?

Yeah the earlier you interview the more seats are still undecided at most schools and the more likely you are to be accepted Dec. 1. As the season goes on, more fill up and plenty of people are still competing for fewer open seats. Remember that plenty of those are filling seats at 2+ schools though and everything shuffles around as people commit. Chances of acceptance post Dec. 1 are still substantial.

October 9 to 22 makes only a slight difference
if it were oct 9 to nov 22, I would strongly recommend the 10/9 date
