So I have a few questions about a Uni english credit.

I didn't ever take a course from the faculty of English, BUT I did take a few courses which are formally desigated as E/F/G which are essay courses. Basically, these are writing intensive courses, one being a scientific methods course and the other being my thesis project.

Will either of these work?

If not, are you allowed to take your English credit AFTER applying but before matriculating? For example, could I take the english credit online or as a part-time student despite having already graduated, and if I finish in time for matriculation, have it count?

If no, can I take a part-time English credit and have it count if completed by the deadline?

Thanks!

On several of my secondaries where I was required to input my pre-reqs, I was able to substitute an "English" course with another writing intensive course. For example, I was able to place out of my introductory English course with AP credit, and replace it with a writing intensive philosophy, Russian literature, and another writing course (on the quarter system) to fulfill my required year of English.

As long as your AMCAS course list includes a English class "to be taken in the future" you should be fine. Taking an English class to fulfill a requirement prior to matriculation will be something you need to contact a specific school for, as they either won't care or provide you with some options. But as an accepted student, they should be more flexible. However I would focus more on fulfilling all of your pre-reqs before you graduate so you can enjoy your summer rather than sitting in a dull English class waiting for medical school to begin.
