I'm 25 and married. Do I have to put my mother's financial information? If so... why? My husband and I definitely qualify for FAP based on our family size (we have a little girl) and we don't get regular financial help from either of our parents.

Also, should I wait until we get our W2s before submitting this? Or should I just estimate our income and send it in? It should be pretty different from our stuff from 2008 because I changed positions and hours.

I'm not planning on taking the MCAT until May, but I don't know if there are a limited number of people that will receive fee assistance each year, so I don't want to wait too long.

Danke.

the website says they don't differentiate btwn independent/dependent so everyone has to do parentals. IDK if there's a process for "parents won't/can't submit info".

if you have your last paystubs from 2009 you can use that if it'll allow estimation.

yup, they dont care if you're parents dont help you. the fact that you have parents is enough. it's a real downer in the application process.

Well that sucks. I suppose I'll still submit but if they include my mother's earnings in their calculations for my eligibility I'm sure I won't qualify.

Yup, denied. Sucktastic.

Good thing the in-laws already offered to help in this regard, I just didn't want to have to take them up on it if I could avoid it.
