I know this is pretty much only applied to primary care doctors, but they have some of the same issues that optometry has sometimes. So just keep this in mind if you wish you would have become a MD. Good luck with interviews everybody!

I wonder if they have done this study with optometrists. Do you think the response would be the same from them? Just wondering.

It could just be a general health care trend. I know there are many many differences with what is happening to optometrists, but it there is a general problem with insurance and health care plans. Just kind of interesting to hear the problems of another health care profession.
