In the SDN vernacular, GPA and DAT "cut-off" is commonly used. The myth, unfortunately, is deeply ingrained. When it comes to DAT, there are only two schools, Florida and Oregon, that require a minimum of 15 in all scored categories. Tufts expects international students to score a 20 on RC. There are 13 schools that reported minimum GPA requirement. Interestingly, Creighton shows a range of enrollees at 3.02-3.99 science GPA, although in their defense, it does not say whether the minimum applies to both science and overall.

Doc toothache, Maryland clearly states on their website "A score of 18 or higher will be considered but no single science score may drop below a 17."

Click "What do I need to know about the DAT?" question.

Also, USC says this, "Applicants must obtain a minimum score of 15 for each DAT category."

I'm sure there are a number more, but I don't have the time to look for them.

I'd also add that these are just the official statements from schools - many of them don't list a hard limit to discourage applicants, but discussion with admissions at various schools will reveal there are score thresholds that can definitely set one back as an applicant. IMO the best course of action if one is unsure of their scores is to call admissions and ask.

Pittsburgh and Ohio State also have a GPA and DAT cutoff.
