Hey guys,

I'm curious about something. If a dentist is a really good marketer, can he charge as high as he pleases? I sometimes wonder about the dentists in really rich areas.

Also, is there a limit to your fee structure before you get blackballed by insurance companies?

The right fee is the fee the patient is willing to pay for both the received service and the perceived service. Many times those two are distinct, albeit not mutually exclusive entities.

I hope to get my name blackballed from all dental benefit companies in my practice. Then again, I hope to never have to deal with the nonsense that is dental "insurance" anyways, so bring it on!
