This sunday i read in Hindustan Times about the Brokpas of Kashmir a tribe with only 700 surviving members. This tribe is supposed to be only pure aryan tribe existant in the country. Today i did a bit of searching and found the a tribe with same name exists in Bhutan but they are not related to brokpas of kashmir. Here is an interesting link about brokpas of kashmir:

also I found this interesting The Genographic Project by National Geogrphic society and IBM. I want to know if anyone of u have participated or know someone who had paricipated in this project.

I think Indian government doesnt allow its citizen to participate in this study. I am not sure of this... just check it out,

hmmm.... i think u r correct 🙁 it would have been great fun to find one's roots.
