Also, is it standard practice for a cop to ask you if you have anything "dangerous" in your car that they should know about? I almost laughed but was like this dude might actually take that to be suspicious...be cool!

The guy was super seriously you guys.

My "flashing a nip" days are far behind me. So, the po-po will have to settle for cleavage and tears.

BTW insomnia is horrible. I can't sleep at night and then I fall asleep in lecture. Boo.

I'm taking an exam in a 400 level undergraduate genetics course at State U tomorrow. it covers homozygotes vs heterozygotes, dihybrid crosses, the definition of epigenetics, and pedigrees. herp. derp.

This course the entire semester will not cover the genetics that intro bio 2 at WashU taught.

And I honored medical school genetics last semester in an SMP at State U MD School.

Desperate situations call for weird circumstances...i won't complain though...16 credits with research and other responsibilities has me busy enough

Good luck :luck:

So what's with the "super cereal" comments? What does that mean? I must be outdated being (almost) 28 and all...

Firstly, you're 27?! Dude. Why did I think you were much older?

The super cereal and seriously stuff are references to South Park.

I feel ashamed now because I'm older than you and am referencing South Park, and also cause I wasn't supposed to post in here for another hour 😀.

I like South Park. Unfortunately, between school, work, research, and a relationship, I don't watch much TV. If I do, I usually just stream Netflix.

I am awake because I have a 102 fever..... I feel super weird. I think I'm in that "hypothalamus has raised the threshold and now I'm shivering to catch up" phase. BRRRRRRRRRRR.

I think one of my little darlings in the ER has shared their flu A with me. Oh well, I'm having a weird sort of fun cranking out EK physics problems. Next on the list if I can't go to sleep: Who wants flu-contaminated cookies?

After midnight here so I'm allowed to post again. Hooray! With only 15 minutes before I pass out 👎

Sorry bout the cold! I've found EK Verbal passages are also strangely fun to do.

I am awake because I am doing a lab that is due at 10 am. If anyone is familiar with calibration curves, liner of regression, and internal standards I got a joke for y'al.

So here I am UP this EARLY morning plotting my graph on Atomic Emission Spec and as I am plotting my data I realized that my R-squared for my trendline is .35 🙁 NO WHERE LINEAR AT ALL Unfortunately. I can't even find my unknown concentration nor Linear of Linearity because my research is really messed up 🙁.

Back to what I can possibly salvage right now :scared:

I can't sleep, either, but I actually have a Circadian rhythm sleep disorder. I am a bit worried about this. Not so much of a problem now as my job is pretty flexible. But when med school starts in four months I am going to have to get up around 5:30 AM most days. 😱 At least the first semester schedule looks as if it is going to be a lot of 8 AM - 5 PM days. After the first semester maybe not so much with a heavy PBL curriculum. I have a one hour commute, too, so I will really have to leave by 6:30 AM to make sure I am not late. BTW, mandatory attendance at my school, unfortunately.

This week is going to suck. Pharmacogenetics test, SOAP notes to do, a paper on alzheimers and the folic acid theory, have to make a study guide for my patient assessment class, study for my two quizzes, do my stats work, run a gel in the research lab, and study infectious disease.... Boooooooo
