of CO2 in the blood is carbonic acid which is roughly 60-80% if my memory serves me correct. what are the other forms of CO2?

I know carbonic acid and bicarbonate are present in the blood and act as a buffer system that regulate the PH... Don't know if thats what you are looking for.

CO2...

7% is transported via blood plasma
23% binds to amino acid
70% forms bicarbonate

No, Carbonic anhydrase helps converting CO2 and H2O into Carbonic acid which later can dissociate into bicarbonate and H+.
