Almost exact same boat. Been 10 months and there isn't much. Huge gap between paid 50+/hr to finding anything above 20. Cold hard facts. Nobody knows what a pharmacist does and whatever skills you have do not transfer. I am thinking about jobs that pay 10 to 15....crazy right? Last year I got an above average review and I was slinging prescriptions and multi tasking like a mother *. Now?...is what it is...never liked the job anyway. Good luck.
It's hard in any metro and most suburban locations.
Definitely the way to go. Harder, but if you do enough research and fill a need, it's the right way. Keep in touch if you have any interesting ideas.
It could be any of us any time (for the experienced ones making that fat cash they used to pay and PTO they used to give). I'm sorry your number was up this time. I've lost a job once and it stings, but get back on that horse and find some cushy Staff/Float thing until you can retire. How close are you to retirement? and yes, BEST of luck...
