I am ready to register for the April MCAT and was hoping to hear from some people who have taken the MCAT at the Philadelphia sites. I would really appreciate it if anyone could give me insites as to the different testing atmospheres of various test sites in philly and whether the testing administrators at these different sites allow you to snack or drink from a water bottle during the test. The regulations for test day state: "you will not be able to eat, drink, or smoke in the testing room", but I have heard of excpeptions for eating and drinking during the test and was wondering if anyone experienced any of these exceptions at these Philly sites. Again, I appreciate any info. Thanks!

You might want to try Holy Family College.

I'm not sure of their policy regarding food and beverage...but they had large desks to take the test on (who would want to be handicapped b/c of the limited work area they were given).

Templeguy,

I took the test at temple, sounds like you know the place well. I advise not taking the test there...it is held in Anderson Hall rm 17 and surrounding rooms.....chck it out. They make you use desks that are connected to the chairs! No room at all
