This was some pretty interesting reading. A lot is high-level but most is good.

Written for a fp, but I think usefully for students as well.

I love the Merck Manual. 😍

I personally prefer the print version (prefer to read off of paper rather than a screen).

There's a cd-rom with pictures on it. Looks interesting but I don't think I'd want to fork over the $95

Seems a bit pricey.

By the way, you get used to the medical lingo after a while (get a good medical dictionary--ie: Dorlands-- & you'll learn a lot!). I've had a Merck of my own for 12+ years & use it pretty regularly.

strangely enough, just today i was looking at purchasing the Merck manual at Costco.

off topic for this list - but if you have pets, there is a Veterinary Merck that is just as useful for your dogs, cats, horses, etc.
