You know how the MCAT score on the second page for each school shows the range of scores for accepted students? John Hopkins starts at 7 for PS (and VR... BS starts at 9). I can't help but wonder what the rest of the application looked like for someone that got into Hopkins with a PS score of 7.

Here are some of my guesses:
A parent on the ADCOM.
15 on both VR and BS, T writing score.
4.0 GPA (though I would be surprised someone got straight As then got a 7 on part of the MCAT).
Name on a study involving a recent stem cell breakthrough.
Hospital Volunteering year round since freshman year.
LoR from Jesus Christ.
Proof that you are actually the reincarnation of Hippocrates.

Any other ideas?

P.S. Please let me be clear that this is meant to be tongue in cheek. 🙂

I haven't looked at the MSAR in a while, but I am fairly certain that if you see a 7, that's their 10th percentile. There's still at least 10% of the people at or below that score.

That's not true. He discovered the hidden sections when he got every question right and corrected the writers in his essay.
They opened the secret section at the end and he ended up with a 52Z. He also failed a class by default after killing his professor who made an anti-Norris statement (bad idea...) ...but still ended up with a 5.3 GPA.
