So I applied to The New School For Social Research (NSSR) in NYC since they had rolling admission until Aug 1st. I sent my application in a few weeks before the deadline and haven't heard anything back besides the confirmation email that they have received all my application material. Classes start Aug 30th and I live on the west coast so if I get accepted I have to make the cross country move with very limited time...

I'm just wondering if anyone has applied this late in their admission cycle and when they heard back with a decision?

Thanks a lot!

Is this for the PhD program in Clinical Psychology?

Only students who are currently completing the M.A. program in the General Psychology Program at the New School for Social Research can apply to the Clinical Psychology PhD program.

...All students (who must hold a master’s degree in psychology from The New School for Social Research) must apply directly to the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program for consideration by completing a Clinical Ph.D. application. Applications are available in late November and due to the program on February 1st. Applicants should hand in applications directly to the Director of Clinical Student Affairs whenever possible; applicants who are unable to do so should follow up on or before the application deadline to make sure that their applications were received.

Hi,

When did you end up hearing from them?

I got the same conformation that all my application material is in and under review about 10 days ago. Just wondering how long the process takes.

Thanks!
