I'd be curious to hear your opinion of the wright institute after your interview. I interviewed there, but they weren't as good of a fit for me, but it seemed like an interesting place to train. Living in Bezerkly would have been fun though.

You mean Central Michigan right? yeah, I'll be there even though it's an "optional" interview and I'm running low on $$ with the cost of flights to schools. I guess it's better than getting no interviews though. I feel like this isn't really optional though, if you want them to seriously consider you.

If anyone is interviewing at Wisconsin-Madison for anything in psychology, feel free to fire some questions at me. Oh yeah, I should probably add a little background: I'm a first year in the clinical psych program and I found this thread pretty helpful last year so hopefully I can help out some other soon-to-be grads...

Yes, when I spoke to the assistant director of admissions, she informed me that roughly 40 of the 250 applicants were invited (approx. 1/6). She also told me that they will be accepting about half of those who are interviewing, so our odds just increased considerably! I don't want to get my hopes up yet, though...
