Now that it's finals and grading season, I think we all need a place to complain about whatever we want.

I'll start- I have to complain about the thousands of new threads started daily by SDN members with post counts in the single digits that are upset about a B or God forbid a C grade in Calc 1, Intro to Bio, or maybe even a general ed. requirement.

If this is you, feel free to commiserate with others in this thread!!! And you will be doing your part in cleaning up the repetitive threads on the forum homepage!

I got rejected from my state school. I have a cold. +pity+
 
I'm sure we've all made a repetitive newbie-thread at some point. The important thing is to help as much as we can.. we are going to be doctors after all 🙂

I wanna complain about the cold!!

The website to check my grades has been down for hours thanks to the servers crashing. I would really like to know how I did this semester, but I have to wait even longer to know my grades.

I have a stomach ache from eating too much Chinese food as well.
 
I want to complain about my school's sadistic requirement of Botany in order to get a BS in Biology...I think it's BS!! (sorry...couldn't pass up the bad pun...)

Ugh, worst feeling ever (about the grades that is). I've been checking online to see if my final grades are up every 30 min for a few days now...

Also I'm pissed that one of my professors was exposed to my scathing course evaluation in a complete breach of proper protocol and now I'm paranoid my grade will be lower because of it.

Whoa that's pretty seriously messed up. If anything seems off can you contact the provost (or whoever else runs the evals) and make an official complaint?

I write all of my evaluations with the attitude that I wouldn't be ashamed to have someone know it was me who wrote it. It's possible to write a course evaluation that gives a LOT of criticism, but still have it be positive and respectful. I don't know what kind of eval you wrote so I won't comment on that.. hopefully things work out okay though.
 
I have, what is seeming to be, the worst case of the flu I have ever had in my entire life....:scared: 1 week and counting.
 
Well I do have something to complain about I was on my way home and and saw something in the road it was a rabbit just chilling there not scared of my car. Not upset that I almost hit it, more so that it seemed to be a furry little ball impervious to fear.
 
My car was really dirty, so I went to the car wash. It started raining literally the MINUTE I drove out of the car wash, which kicked up a bunch of mud and road gunk, making my car look like poo again.

Also, not the biggest fan of Christmas. I never know what to get people, and it is very busy and stressful, and all I really ever want to do is sit on a beach drinking a beer in the sunshine. But every year I still wind up standing in line at Target on Christmas Eve with all the poor schmucks who put off their shopping and are desperately trying to convince themselves that a set of dumbbells is an appropriate gift for their 85-year-old grandmother.
 
I was thrilled when I saw this thread because I have lots of stuff to complain about. But for some ****ed up reason I am drawing a blank right now. I will comeback later. For sure.
 
I feel the need to complain about how I got a C in Orgo 1, but consistently scored a good amount of points higher than the class averages. Also, my professor is TERRIBLE and he's the only one who teaches the class. 😡

And I haven't done any christmas shopping yet. AHHHHHH!!!!!!
 
Even though I consistently scored higher than the average, even 14 points above on one exam, I got a C+ in Calculus. Not cool. My A in orgo this term is the only thing keeping my head from exploding. :boom:
 
I just took my first final and still have two more to go. I mean what the hell it's Christmas in four days. Give me my winter break already. Aaaahhhh!! 😡
 
Yesterday I had to explain to someone that generic valium was just as good as brand name. He came back today claiming it doesn't work.

Well actually i haven't been contacted back, ever since i never called the woman in charge when she asked...

The ceiling dripped on me all day at work and the unit reeked of endless C-Diff code brown.

But I ate about a pound of delicious baklava that one of the docs brought in during break, so I feel like I came out a little ahead.
 
Been waiting two freaking weeks for my english grade ugh!
 
Um I go to school in what has to be the most rural part of America in the middle of nowhere and it has been EXTREMELY difficult to shadow a doctor or volunteer somewhere to get clinical experience.

Complaining: a class I was stoked about taking next semester is taught by a horrible teacher. wah wah wah.

And I'm hongry.

Oh, and you are not ALL going to be doctors, thank god. About half of you will be.
 
It's the week before Christmas and it is in the 50's and beautiful today....and I have a cold and can't enjoy living in the south 🙁
 
My complaints: 1. I need a new job and there are no positions available in the city I live for me to do what I do. 2. I won't get unemployment, not that I care, but unless I find a job asap I'll have no money asap. 3. I didn't get to see the eclipse yesterday because it was cloudy.

But hey I get to go to see a stand up comic tonight. Guess my life isn't that bad...

I live in one of the mudslide zones in LA. My basement is flooding.

But what I'm really upset about is having to go to work when I just want to stay in bed and watch TV.
 
Bad freshman fall ----> uphill battle

And I like to take tough courses, which doesn't bode well for a high GPA
 
a month later, i'm still depressed over the disappearance of the McRib...

One of my limited number of non medical friends was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Merry F'ing Xmas indeed. He's had a great 60 years, model of health, outstanding family, tremendous attitude, but will go 20 years too soon. I can't imagine how this weekend is going to be at his home, all of his family were already coming. He said he wants to take the boat out and just keep going.
PS. Sorry about your B in Ochem.

And yes, this is serious.

I've been growing my beard out because I like a little something there when I'm snow skiing (going next week). BUT, my girlfriend really doesn't like this. So I'm complaining that beards and kissing aren't the best of friends. 😎
