not really worried about score tmrw, lowest im gonna get is 513. would love a freaking 519 tho, would have had to get perfect scores in bio and physics sections tho.

not verified yet, submitted on june 13th. hopefully high mcat makes up for late app. started pre-writing secondary apps.

Agreed (86-96% prelim). Basically, I'm curious to see where my two 85-100% sections are... regardless, as long as I'm not outside the range I will be happy. Will definitely be happier if I'm at or above that 90% though!

Yup. 88-98 but my breakdown seems like CP 85-100, CARS 126, B 85-100, PS 127. Adding the lowest percentiles gives 511 but the 88th over suggests >513 so I'm really nervous I'm not that 10% haha

Well there is no 90 so.... I feel the same way. I got a 127, 128, and then two 129-132's and I got the 90-100 percentile ranking. If they were both 129 then I would end up with a 513. Since thats 89th % I'm hoping that means they're greater than 129. I'm hoping for a 516. I'm rambling because I'm nervous. I'm nervous because my future. My future because.... what was I saying?

I'm nervous too, but hey at least our overalls were on the upper end of our range just given the individual percentiles. So I think that is good news, and we should both be in the upper ends on the 85-100 scales!

Sounds like we are the exact same shoes. Im also hoping for 516, but will be fine w my 515

My overall is 84-94, with percentile ranges at 82-97 (CPS), 65-80 (CARS), and 85-100 for the Bio and Pys/Soc sections

I am content with a 512, happy with a 514, and ecstatic with 515-518. I believe my range is 512-518. Can anyone confirm?!

CP is a 128, CARS is a 126 (I think), and then Bio / Psych are 129 minimum. So yeah 512 - 518

I haven't seen any. We're almost score twins, so I'm hoping that holds true!

And usually for the people who got 514 or 515, they're percentile range was 88-98 or 89-99

Can anyone comment on why AAMC is giving percentiles?

What is happening in the 3 weeks after the percentile release that requires them to provide a range rather than solid numbers?

What could happen that makes the percentiles shift for individual scores during this time?

Also, does anyone else think that the June percentiles will be more accurate given that AAMC had a larger data pool than it did for the april/may tests?

Just as a reminder, your preliminaries will be replaced with your actual score and you will not be able to view them once your real scores are posted. For people who will continue being obsessive with their scores once their final ones are posted, you may want a screen grab of your preliminaries. Unless you've memorized them of course...!

So I just got a biochem grade back. This was the first test I have walked into thinking I was going to kill it and walked out asking myself if I should drop the class.(Ive had bad tests before but not after being that confident going in). I didnt do as well as I had hoped going in but I did much better than I thought coming out and significantly better than the average. Im hoping that holds true for my mcat score release today as well. I was hoping for a 513+ going in, now I just hope I fall toward the middle of my preliminary(80-90).

Had a nightmare that I scored a 117 in cars and I had to start applying to Caribbean school.

One person mentioned 3 PM, but was that for everyone at EXACTLY the same time? Preliminaries were not posted exactly at the same time, so I was expecting random releases between 8 and 5 PM. At least I'm not spending my weekend on premed forums, lol.
