So Zaria92, it seems that you are a dental student at least at 3 dental schools. On Feb 17/17 you claimed that you are a D1 student at Roseman, then April 18/17 you claimed that you are a dental student at NYU and then on Dec 31/17 you claimed that you are a third year student at MidWestern. So what is your deal?

I almost asked this question 2 weeks ago and decided to let it go!

I was placed on the alternate list on Jan. 26. Still haven’t heard any word 🙁

I agree, LLU should post their strict requirements so students that do not meet LLU's DAT score do not waste application money ($300) and focus on different schools that value GPA.
Hi,
In defense of LLU, I was accepted and have below a 20 in two DAT sections (one is PAT). I am also NOT SDA.

I recently withdrew my seat from here so there should be some movement from the waitlist (if only just a little bit).

Just accepted to LLU today!! It’s been a long journey but I’m grateful. Good luck to the rest of you who are still waiting. Keep the faith!

Congratulations! It took a long time coming, but you made it!
See you this August

The second time (last cycle) i applied with a DAT of 20, 22 on each science, 16 on math, 3.2 science gpa..overal gpa 3.55. yet no interviews

now I am deciding to reapply without retaking the dat for the third time.. I am just confused why i didnt recieve a single interview on the second time i applied. any advice would help!!

It happened because there were candidates with higher stats then yours. Simple as that. If you were declined after the interview, then you didn't do well on the interview. You simply need to look good on paper: higher DAT, more volunteering, better PS -whatever you are able to improve

In addition to stats, it's also the quality of the personal statement, and how well the application was put together. Admissions committees can tell when someone quickly put their primary and secondary applications together, as opposed to someone who put a lot of thought into it. The overall goal is to stand out among other applicants, and grades is a large part of that, but also overall experience and roundness, referrals, ability to write well and clearly, and attention to instructions.
