got an e-mail around 8 am this morning and got accepted... however I got into my state school as well and will not be attending so I hope this can open up a spot for someone.. congrats to everyone that got in and I wish you all the best!!!
 
I am OOS and got into my state school as well, so I will also not be attending. So hopefully this makes all those waitlisted feel better!
 
Anyone starting FB group? Got accepted as OOS, but originally applied as resident (special circumstances).
 
if you got accepted to both please think of the people on UofL waiting list TT. Please TT_TT
 
Accepted! I'm from Florida and this was my number one choice...great feeling. Faith and Patience paid off..Good luck to everyone out there applying and I look forward to meeting the c/o 2017 soon! We need to make a fb page as well!
 
I was waitlisted by Louisville, They keep sending me emails saying that many students are matriculated from this wait list. What do you guys think?

I emailed them, and they said there is no particular order of the waitlist..they like to call it a "next to be contacted" and that many students come from this pool

I called and they said they don't rank people on the waitlist, what they do is to have meetings and take the whole list and discuss again to make decisions.
 
Oh ok, thats what kind of what I remember them saying at the interview as well. Just wanted to confirm. Thanks!
 
Got accepted Monday, but haven't been on here till today! Looking forward to a new chapter of life.
 
Unfortunately, I was placed in the waitlist/next-to-be-contacted pool as well, which was a huge downer because UofL was my top choice. And I'm still a bit confused as to how their waitlist works. All I've seen if that there are no ranked positions for the waitlist?

Anyways, congratulations to those of you who were accepted! You guys deserved it 🙂
 
Accepted on Dec 3 as OOS! 🙂 Also accepted to UK.. still trying to make the decision. Anyone want to help with some advice?
 
Accepted to both UK and UL as well! Torn between the two . Any insight or advice on either Would be helpful !
 
Does anyone know if they're still offering interviews? And when the last day is for them? I applied late 😛
 
I got accepted to UK and UofL. UK was where I wanted to go, but now that I actually got in to both it is a very tough choice. I like the University of Kentucky atmosphere better but I feel like Louisville may be the better school. I am still leaning toward UK though. What do other people think of the two schools?
 
Received an interview invite today, which is exciting, but before I attend the interview I am wondering if OOS can get in-state tuition at Louisville after the first year...does anyone know? If you can, that would make it substantially cheaper than the school I am planning on attending so I would be very interested in an interview. Thanks!

Does anyone know how good of a chance you have of getting in if you are on their Next to Be Contacted List?
 
More than likely heading to UK. I also know of others turning down uofL so hopefully you move up the list.
 
Going to UK. I have two friends going as well. 3 spots will open up for Louisville good luck!
 
I have decided to attend the University of Kentucky. It was down between UK and UofL. Both are great schools, and congratulations to everyone that got accepted to both. I feel like either one that you choose from you will get a good education, and be surrounded by great people. Good luck to everyone!

I am OOS (I know that the SDN Gods will land blast me for not going to my state school because of tuition, but U of L feels like home) and put my paperwork in the mail today. See everyone this July.
 
I am OOS and have also decided to head to Lexington 🙂 So, hopefully you get moved up on UofL's list! Goodluck!
 
Has anyone sent everything in and received access to blackboard? I have several things and am coming to Louisville next week to look at apartments. If you have and would be willing to share the apartment list I would really appreciate it!

Congrats guys, Louisville is a great school. I am currently a R1 in periodontics here. I did my DMD there as well. Feel free to ask me any if yall have any questions.
 
Did anybody from the next to be contacted list hear anything back for the previous weeks?
