ughh, mine still says this "Your file remains active in our applicant pool and it will continue to be reviewed at subsequent meetings of the Admissions Committee. A final decision on your application will be made in the coming weeks and months."

I'm expecting a rejection soon...
 
Don't look too much into the status change guys and gals. Hang in there. Let's just relax and enjoy the weekend, and any phone calls/acceptances will just be icing on the cake!
 
But it wasnt updated recently it was last updated 8/10/12
 
I interviewed there over a month ago and my status still hasn't even changed to "invited to interview" yet. I'm not buying into the whole "status change" meaning something.

Yeah I did have an interview back in October but I don't have any kind of status from them.. should I be worried?
 
For those who received status changes today, are you in-state or oos?
 
I am in state and had a status change today from under review to check back dec 3.
 
Mobile portal changed to offer made...hope its legit!
 
Is your status on the mobile portal different from the standard one for those who had it changed to offer made? Weird that it would change today...

Oh snap, I just checked the mobile and mine says offer made as well!! The normal one says check back dec 3 still

Mine says "offer made" too. This makes me more nervous then before because now I have my hopes way up.
 
My mobile portal just says "decision" what the...? Anybody else see that?

Just got a phone call from Marquette U saying that I had been accepted...keep your phones close....

I just got a call too and am being offered a scholarship! Is this real life?!

Brian called me!!! honestly if i responded to him the way i did during the call at an interview he would think i didnt know how to speak...was so speechless 😀😀😀😀😀
 
for everyone that's being accepted, do all of your status's on AADSAS say check back on December 3rd?
 
Accepted as well!!! Marquette is one of my top choices along with UIC and Iowa so I am hoping for good news from them tomorrow as well. Any advice on how to decide between the 3??
 
Still waiting :/ how late do you think they will call till? Anyone?? It's a top choice of mine
 
I would assume it would take them a few hours to get through all 80 people. Don't get discouraged if you have not heard yet though. I am positive spots will open up as time goes on. Just remember people getting these calls are getting calls from other place as well and they have to pick only one.
 
:soexcited: Brian Called Me At 6:59pm!!!!! BEST Call of my life! I received braces at Marquette when I was 13 and my orthodontist (student) at the time inspired me to become a Dentist. Marquette is where it all started and it is very special to me!!! BEST school out there! I can't wait!!!! 🙂 :biglove:

Congrats to those who have been accepted, and those who have not heard back...DON'T LOSE HOPE AND NEVER GIVE UP!!!!! :xf:

How did you guys hear you were wait listed? Was it an email or aadsas? My aadsas doesn't have Marquette listed as a school of mine although I interviewed there but it does list Iowa and Minnesota with "offer made" I haven't received an email or phone call from Marquette so I'm not sure what this means 🙁
