Fergustsi, was Stanford an outright reject or a "waitlist"? I know I'm diving hairs here, but curious to know if they just waitlisted everyone.
+1 Stanford.
.... sigh....
I am from the west coast. I have (as of now) also been rejected by every single program on the west coast I applied to outside my home institution. I'm a relatively competitive applicant - high step 2 scores, honored Em-sub I.... Only schools on the East coast want to meet me. Not that I'm complaining, I love the East coast and I think I'd be super happy there... It's just that everybody told me that geographic jumps are not the norm...
Does that make any sense to anybody?!
... I'm sort of over this whole process.

"Regretfully, we are unable to grant you an
interview."
I'd say it's an outright rejection.
This west coast is killing me. Applied to all only got irvine and USC still waiting to hear from. Only sw, se, ne and mid Atlantic seems to be interested (probably cause I grew up in the se and go to school in the sw)

Does EM even do pre-match? I figured it'd be so competitive it wouldn't be worth their time. I, too, am an anxious candidate...How is this for over it. The first program to offer a prematch to me (I'm a do) wins, I don't care which program it is anymore.

Drsaahill, hang in there... It's a hard year for most of us. Let's not get discouraged just yet.
