watch out for that 901 area code! Plus they are going by IS, Arkansas and then OOS. And they only started 30 min ago.

Nope no email yet! Portal has also not changed. Walked out in the middle of class to answer Dr. Covington's call haha
 
I guess I got rejected because I didn't receive any phone calls yet.
 
Accepted!!! 11:15 am OOS (not Arkansas) GOOD LUCK GUYS! I think I received my call from someone other than Dr. Covington...so there may be more than 1 caller.
 
I received the phone call from Dr. Covington at 9:55 today! I checked the portal and it still says invited for interview. I also have not received any kind of email. Congrats to everyone and good luck to those still waiting to hear! This is my state school and second time applying. I was accepted to MWU-IL last year and turned it down and risked applying here again this cycle. It paid off for sure
 
Just got a call from Dr. Covington at 1:15. Looks like I'll be calling the Hogs from Memphis, TN!! Congrats everybody else!
 
What are y'alls stats? I had an interview and am wondering how I compare to the ones who are getting accepted.
 
For those interested, I am going to create a Facebook group for our class; it will be a closed group.

I got the call from Dr. Covington around 11:45 EST. I'm OOS, interviewed end of Sept. Don't lose hope, there is still so much that can change in the next couple months!
 
I really was hoping to get a call.. I am oos and interviewed mid October
 
I didn't receive call either I was hoping to get a call too and now im very disappointed. my interview was in October 3rd and im oos.
 
I was in the first interview group back in August and still haven't heard anything. I'm hoping they call in a random order and just haven't gotten to me yet!
 
"I am not sure when they will be accepting more people, specifically, but, Dr. Covington said at the interview that they accept until all spots are full... Even the day before classes begin in August. But my assumption would be that the next time people would be notified of acceptance would be mid to late January, because those offered acceptance have 30 days to accept or decline from their acceptance. Dr. Covington also said they don't put together the wait list until the first of the year and if you are on the wait list, that's a very good position to be in. Tennessee is very selective as to who is on that wait list."

This is a post from the Class of 2018 acceptance thread; it was posted the day after the first phone calls were made.
 
I miss an unknown phone call this morning. I just wonder if anyone received an unknown # call from UT or it appearance #.
 
Did Dr. Covington say that everyone would get a call to let them know their status? I cant remember from my interview but I'm OOS and my portal still isnt' updated to anything other then "invited for interview"

I was in that group too 🙂 Hmmmmm....lets see if I can guess...it was a small group lol
 
Does anyone know if they are done with interviews? My portal still says "Application received/Application Completed". I assume they haven't begun to send out rejections since no one has said anything.

I phoned them this morning, and said they plan on continuing to interview after the first of the year. They will continue to update until the first class day of 2015. It looks like there is possibility.
 
Hey guys So I interviewed at Tenn in July and now I just got an mail saying I am accepteddddd This is so awesome I can't wait to start!
 
I'm a reapplicant, prior interview, and I haven't heard anything since the "app complete" email I got in late July. Anybody else in the same boat?
 
I haven't gotten an alternate email or an acceptance. I wonder if that means they still haven't decided about me or I'll be getting a rejection letter soon.

If you go to the old threads , a lot a people actually got off the instate waiting list. So don't lose hope yet!!
