When do department websites typically post their incoming class? I want to find out who else will be in my class, and who got into the other programs I interviewed with.

Most schools don't typically post -- you'll have to dig deep next year to see who got in where. As for your own cohort, you'll likely start getting group emails soon enough, and if not, it's fine to ask the department secretary for a list soon.

I'll be attending UMKC's Counseling PhD program. I made my decision in Mid-March, but I've been very busy finishing up my BA, apartment-hunting, and spending time with the friends I'll leave behind.

I've lived in Missouri all of my life, and I agree with Nervous Nelly 2. Even though the general population of the South and Midwest may get married younger, be really conservative and religious, etc., you're still going to be on a college campus and surrounded by scholars in your day-to-day life.

If anyone has questions about Missouri schools, including Mizzou, feel free to PM me.

Haha. I don't know o any other SDN-ers going to Georgia next year, either, but I got an email naming the other ten students in my cohort a few weeks ago. No worries; I'm SURE you're not the only one : )

We often have 2-4x as many guests compared to registered members who actively read the forum. I've actually had people introduce themselves to me at conferences as lurkers....it can be a small world! 🙂

ive actually had it happen multiple times at interviews... its not hard to put together Justin and Alaska and figure hmmm I bet that guy is AlaskanJustin from SDN... some lurkers and some members 🙂
