What would be considered the "perfect" dean's letter statement about an applicant to emergency medicine? In other words, what statement would jump out to program directors in a way that would make them say "I want this guy in my program"?

Considering how many students have a significant influence on the wording of the deans letter (ie, I had a chance to edit as I wished two paragraphs of it just a week ago), I doubt that any particular statement holds that much water.

"Fantastic dancer, knows how to carry a tune. His blood smells like colone. Sharks and nurses have a week dedicated to him. He once did a thoracotomy on himself, and survived. And he can bench-Press-Ganey 400 smilely face pounds."

Boom goes the dynamite.
