It's a good idea for the public to be aware of practitioners who abuse their licenses and become pill mills so they know how the opioid epidemic came to be. It'd be a better idea to do a documentary or series about PBMs, discount cards, reimbursement pressures, DIR fees, and their role in the decline of independent pharmacies. The curtain of secrecy about every aspect of this profession should be removed even if it hurts in the short run.
