For any of you guys who actually have a PharmD or are close to getting it, in your experience, do you find the PharmD and title that goes with it are respected like other professional doctorate degrees (e.g., MD, DO, DDS, DVM, OD, DPM, JD, etc.)?

How often are clinical pharmacists in hospital settings called "doctor"? Not retail, but in clinical hospital, academic, or other settings? Do you find other professionals respect PharmDs more than they do BSPharms?

Just curious.
