The Premed Team

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Has anyone heard of a private advising group called the Premed team?? If so, what was your experience with them?

I'm trying to sign up for a few private advising sessions, so I would like to know if anyone else has done the same. Any recommendations for great advising groups would be appreciated =)
You are on the best pre-med advising website ever... You have Attendings, residents, medical students, and admission counselors here to help guide the blind. Search and ask away.

I can't recommend SDN to any higher degree. Teach what you know and learn what you didn't.

If you are under the impression that you need to pay for advice on how to get into medical school, you should re-evaluate your life.

I wonder what these advisor companies say about SDN. Can't be good for business.

first of all, almost all the advisers on the list are emergency medicine doctors so if you want the perspective of people in that specialty, go for it. i actually recognize the name of one of the doctors on the list and knowing people who have worked for the doctor, this is not someone who cares about students at all and is more interested in increasing their own prestige.
and as everyone else has said, why pay when you have doctors/adcom members on SDN who will give you advice for FREE?
