About how long does it take to complete the online course? I'm hoping to take the test in less than a month.

i am planning to take the GRE soon, so how effective is your study material? and how are they similar in difficulty to the actual GRE?

The 206 score point improvement is for students who attended our live Classroom course.

If you plan to devote most nights and weekends to studying then you should be fine if you take the test in 3-4 weeks.

Our Classroom and Online course provide 4 computer-based exams, these tests provide a great computer testing experience. Our tests will help you prepare for the real thing!

We've seen a similar score improvement for students who complete our Online and LiveOnline courses. Princeton Review Online does not have a score improvement guarantee, but rather a satisfaction guarantee, meaning we'll do what it takes to help you get the score you need.

What are the main topics in Cracking the GRE book?

How long does it take to prepare with "Cracking the GRE"? Is this book enough preparation on its own, or do most students need supplementary materials?

What are the main topics in Cracking the GRE book?

The Cracking the GRE is comprehensive. It covers all subjects and question types that you might see on the GRE. It does not, however, have many practice problems. We recommend either ETS's 10 Edition and/or our 1014 Practice Problems for the GRE so that you can practice and apply the techniques described in the Cracking book.

The time and effort required to prepare for the GRE is a function of the score you have and the score you need. Take a free full-length practice test on www.princetonreview.com to find out your starting score. Then call your programs to find out what scores you need. If you need another 50 points, read Cracking and take another practice test or two to adjust your timing and to practice applying some of the techniques and you should be fine. If you need another 200 points you will need a lot more effort. You will need to learn all of the vocabulary and will need to practice extensively with the techniques. All techniques are in the book, but learning to apply them is more of an art than a science.
