Nothing really to argue about, sorry, because I'm not saying it's "right" - I'm just throwing out the thought for anyone to bat around. If I *am* right, though, it's possible it will call for some strategic lynching of specific villagers.

sigh. I know about LIS. I am *very* uncomfortable with them, but given the number of seemingly trustworthy people who believe in them I'll have to agree that Vigo the Carpathian is clearly a villain unlike LIS.
In other news.... if absolutely anyone has had posession of the plasma thrower in the last few days please just says so. Lets say last 3 rounds (this one included) It won't get you in trouble. Just curious.
Many confusing things happened last night, confounding your mod-ling enough to suspend the write-up momentarily. Once order was restored, we have a few things to report. KP was seen cruising in Ecto -1. After opening a crazy portal, wanting to get the f*** out of Manhattan, thedrjojo has ended up in Brooklyn. He can now PM with his new borough. Players were contained but not contained, thrown into psych wards, killed, killed and killed dead.

I should also add:
I have had the particle thrower since night 2. I did not use it a single time, for fear of killing a random villager....you have my honest word on that. However, I was silenced for this past night round and now I don't feel like myself and I can't seem to find the particle thrower. I'm not sure if I still have it or not :/
A note to my wonderful players: if you think you might miss deadline, I always welcome contingencies. I've had a handful so far but I'd much rather you come back and play by good fortune after having already sent a PM earlier.

I didn't disappear, I'm a good guy and this is my first time playing so I'm trying to figure out what the hell is going on. I haven't had much input because I don't really have much to compare this to but I've been reading and thinking about how this works all day.

So last night I had the "Ghost Tank" that supposedly if used on a ghost it would trap them and reveal their identity.
I used it on LIS, and it came back as not doing anything, so I highly doubt that they are a ghost.
I have no other information though 🙁 So I have no idea who to lynch...holding off to see if anyone else has anything to add.

I wanted to not be the one who asked that. But now that you have let me say that i *really* hope this isn't reminiscent of my "grumpy cat" move where the resurrected villager is actually a very strong (or even a weak) wolf/chaos.
previously had the ghost tank and then was silenced. I used it on WTF and it worked. WTF is currently trapped. Since I don't know if its a possibility that WTF can be eventually released...

Umm.....I also used it on jj previously, and it told me jj was trapped as well. Then it said she was not a ghost. The tank will reveal the identity of a ghost if used - that is what I was told when I got the item.
Mods told me you are Vinz Clortho, the Keymaster of Gozer.
I use they on here a lot because I honestly have no idea what the gender is of pretty much anyone. I figure "they" is safer than "he" or "her" 😀
For reference, when I used it on LIS, the message said nothing about LIS being trapped. It just failed to work.
Hypothetically (that's code for "DVMD, please poke holes in this idea").....
Let's say I were designing this game....
I might consider having my ghosts be wolves, and I might consider having them be only loosely connected to the players.
So I'd start by making all the players villagers of one sort or another. Then I'd layer the wolf/ghost identity on top of those selected 'villagers' (who are now effectively wolves).
If one got lynched or killed in a 'normal' manner, I'd simply bounce the 'ghost' identity to another player (perhaps at random, perhaps not). It'd be sorta like a conversion. You'd just be told you were now a wolf/ghost.
But if they were trapped into the ghost tank, they'd be effectively killed and the wolf count would decrease.
Sorta a twist on my previous possession theory.
Just tossing it out for more mulling.
And, if WTF turns out to be a bad guy, it means the wolves are fully informed of my role. I think we should determine WTF's status. I'm just not sure how, short of lynching her.

I know who steals roles (and have disseminated that info to at least one other person). Now im pretty damn certain they were busy stealing a totally different role as that person has already implied their role was stolen.
but hell... if your role really was stolen either we have two people with the same power, or there are a few people here who know where to look for your stolen role next.

I'm just saying what I was told by the mods after using the tank. If your role was actually stolen then I wouldn't think you'd convert to a villager. Maybe you're a nameless ghost.

I'd guess that whatever role/item was used would bring back a random player, 'cause heck if I know why someone would pick me vs. one of the others. In any case I'm still a villager.
